Chelsea Gockel
LMFTA
Chelsea Gockel is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate who brings a warm, collaborative, and integrative approach to working with adolescents, adults, and couples. Her interests include anxiety, ADHD, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, and addiction and recovery support. She is passionate about helping clients “come home to themselves”—reconnecting with who they are beneath roles, expectations, and protective masks, and finding greater freedom in their lives.
Grounded in a systemic and relational perspective, Chelsea views each person within an ecosystem of relationships, community, culture, and environment that influences their mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. She draws from emotionally focused therapy, CBT, DBT, parts work, and mindfulness, incorporating somatic awareness and nervous system support. Her approach honors connections between mind, body, spirit, and the natural world, guided by each client’s beliefs and experiences.
Chelsea recently earned her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Southern Connecticut State University. Her clinical internships included working in private practice and facilitating recovery groups at Paramount Wellness in Haddam. She is also a licensed massage therapist, CranioSacral Therapy practitioner, and energy healer, with a background in yoga, movement therapy, and owning and operating Satori Lux Wellness Center. These experiences inform her appreciation for whole-person well-being.
Chelsea supports clients in strengthening self-trust, integrating different parts of themselves, and developing deeper intimacy with themselves and others. She offers space to explore patterns, express needs, and build a more balanced, connected, and authentic life.
